A little about the book: Some Monsters Are Different by David Milgrim (partner link) has some of the neatest illustrations. The List of Mythical Creatures. I'll be honest, putting together a complete list of mythical creatures is intimidating, mostly because there are so many. So forgive me if I'm a little slow on putting this list together. Of all of the projects here on Gods-and-Monsters.com, compiling a list of mythical creatures and their stories is going to be.
It goes through many different monsters and how they can be very much the same, or very different. The story is easy to read and has a good flow to it. The pictures go along nicely with the story. I think that this would be a great book for the classroom because it gives message that being different is okay. This could be a very positive story.
